The Covington Municipal Airport will be hosting
Girls in Aviation Day on Saturday, September 24th.
This year’s Girls in Aviation Day is hosted by the Atlanta Wheels Down South Chapter of Women in Aviation. The event exposes girls and boys to aviation through challenging and exciting activities and demonstrations. We intend to spark an interest in aviation to all who attend by introducing them to aviation professionals and educating them in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
All ages are welcome. Registration is for students attending the event. Chaperones do not need to register for the event; however, they must accompany children under 16 years of age at all times.
